Aero India 2021 | 13th edition culminated

Aero India 2021 is an exhibition of aircraft that takes place in Bengaluru every two year. This year Aero India program was organized between 3rd and 5th February and virtually took place owing to the current pandemic situation. This event is a magical show of aircraft flying and performing stunts in the sky of Bengaluru. This exhibition is the largest air show in entire Asia.

  • Indian Air Force.
  • Defense Ministry of India.

And some other organizations come together to make it a success.

History :

The very first show took place in 1996 and has seen increased participation since then. The primary idea behind this show was to bring together the manufacturers and potential buyers of the Indian aerospace and aviation industry. After that in 4th edition that took place in 2003 around 176 exhibitors from 20 + country came together. In 7th edition the number of exhibitioner became 3 times and 25 countries participated in this program. In the last few years, Aero India became one of the most important and largest aviation exhibition around the world.

13th edition :

Aero India was held from 3 to 5 February 2021 at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bangalore, Karnataka this year. As foreign aircraft were not able to come this year, there will be multiple shows of Indian aircraft. On the first day a Rockwell B-1 Lancer nuclear bomber fly past. This aircraft arrived from Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. The newly introduced Rafael, Tejas and Sukhoi 30 M1 performed and showed might of the Indian Air force. Also aerobatic teams of Surya-Kirans and Sarang performed in an integrated display.
