Alas, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has decided to quit his cricketing career this 15th August.Many of his fans are sad by his retirement.Today, we are going to give you a brief tour of his garage, as he is trending on the internet (although, we know we are late).He owns more than 100 bikes and some luxury cars.So, in this article we are going to cover Dhoni’s Vehicle collection with the brief description of every vehicle.Although, It is not possible to cover all, but we will cover most of his famous rides.
Mahendra Singh Pansingh Dhoni was born on 7th July 1981 in Ranchi, Bihar (now in Jharkhand), India.He started his career in International cricket from 2004 ODI.So, basically our beloved Mahi doesn’t need any recognition, he is quite famous.His long hair look got him worldwide attention along with his unparalleled wicket-keeping & leadership skills.He played 90 Tests, 350 ODIs & 98 T20s.
Dhoni’s Bike Collection:
His love for bikes is nothing new, it goes back to his early college days when he used to ride his Rajdoot and now he is the proud owner of 100+ beasts. This post is not going to cover all of them, but some pretty famous ones are here:
1.Yamaha RD 350 (Rajdoot):
The very first bike that Dhoni owned was Yamaha RD 350 a.k.a. Rajdoot. Rajdoot is a two-stroke Yamaha motorcycle made in India by the Escorts group from 1983 to 1989.It was launched at a price of ₹18,000 and before it being discontinued in India, its price was at ₹30,000.

2.Kawasaki Ninja H2:
With 998cc four-cylinder supercharged engine Kawasaki Ninja H2 is one of the favorite bikes in Dhoni’s list. The engine delivers 231 PS at 11,500 rpm and 141.7 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The interesting fact is that Dhoni was the first owner of this beast in India in 2017. It costs around ₹35 lakh. He can be seen with this beauty often when he gets time.

3.Royal Enfield Machismo:
If you are a bike enthusiast in India and never owned Royal Enfield (Bullet) then your love will be considered incomplete.So, Dhoni like others, owns a Royal Enfield Machismo, showing his love for Royal Enfield & thus it finds a place in Dhoni’s Vehicle Collection.This motorcycle was discontinued by the Royal Enfield back in 2015.Then, it costed around ₹91,000 in India.
On a lighter note, these Royal Enfields are famous to the extent that even during writing this article, we heard the sound of some.

TVS Suzuki Shogun was one of the earliest bikes that were brought to India and was powered by a 108 cc engine with four gears and a fuel capacity of 12 liters.
TVS-Suzuki Shogun was one of the earliest bikes that were brought to India for daily travels in the urban vicinity.It was launched in 1993 and rivaled Yamaha RX-100.Before being discontinued in the year 2000 in India, it was priced at ₹18,000.
5.Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R:
Dhoni purchased it in 2010. This black beauty has been in Dhoni’s Garage for almost a decade now. The four-cylinder engine is capable of delivering 200 PS and has a top speed of 300 Km/hr.Its Price range starts from ₹19.70 Lakh.
Ducati is a big name in bike manufacturer and when they released the Ducati 1098 which features a 1099 cc engine capable of 160 PS power for a limited time Dhoni immediately booked this beast.

Now talking about bikes and no mention of Harley, it feels unfair for the article. Dhoni owns a Harley-Davidson Fatboy which is pretty close to Mahi’s hearts and he is seen more often with it than other bikes. This bike is not in his garage butin his hometown Ranchi. It has a 1690 cc air-cooled engine.It was a must-buy-motorcycle for the famous Dhoni’s Vehicle collection.
This cool motorcycle costs around ₹18-₹20 lakh in India.
8.Confederate X 132 Hellcat:
This bike is one hell of a bike that is owned by top celebrities around the world and it is said that there are only 150 Hellcats in the world. It is owned by Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, David Beckham, and Ryan Reynolds. It is one of the rarest bikes that can be found in Dhoni’s garage.It costed our Captain cool around ₹60 lakh.

- Top Speed 277 Kmph
These 599 cc bikes were in production from 1996 to 2007. It was one of the most famous sport-bikes of that time no wonder that it is in Mahi’s garage now.
This British Motorcycle runs on a 500 cc engine and is one of the few classical bikes in his collection.It is one of the earliest British bikes to cross 100 kmph bar.It costs around ₹1.50-₹2 lakh (not accurate as it is a vintage bike).
11.Norton Jubilee 250:
The second vintage bike after BSA Goldstar, in Dhoni’s vehicle collection is Norton Jubilee 250. As the name suggests it runs on 250 cc engine.
Dhoni’s Car Collection:
Apart from his bikes, he also owns a large number of cars. Some of them are pretty costly while others are regular ones that can be seen on Indian roads here and there. Just like his bike collection.
1.Ferrari 599 GTO:
Dhoni purchased this exotic beauty after winning the 2011 world cup. This car costed him around ₹1.39 crores. It harnesses its power from the V 12 engine which delivers a torque of 620 Nm. It can reach up to a speed of 100km/hr in 3.5 seconds.
It was a custom built ‘Ferrari GTO India’ which Dhoni received as a gift after winning the 2011 Worldcup.
Lieutenant Colonel MS Dhoni owns a Nissan jonga. Wondering, What’s so special about it ? — Nissan Jonga is the Jeep used by the Indian Army and it currently stands de-commissioned from the army.Last reported in 2013, there were 20,000 Jongas that were still active in the Army.

It runs on 3956 cc engine and is priced around ₹6 Lakh. Mahi bought it last year.This Jeep was produced in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
GMC Sierra is a pickup truck that is priced around RS. 70 lakh. This truck runs on a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 623 Nm of torque. The amazing thing is that only Dhoni owns this truck in India.
Audi Q7 is powered by a 2967 cc engine and generates up to 242 bhp and 550 Nm torque. Dhoni owns the black color model of this car. This car is no longer produced and was priced around ₹65 lakh.
Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 petrol engine it generates power of 393 bhp. It is priced around ₹75 lakh but after import duties its price would have increased so it would have costed him in crores.
6.Land Rover Freelander 2:
Captain Cool owns a Land Rover Freelander 2.It is black in colour, Land Rover Freelander 2 has been discontinued after being replaced by Land Rover Discovery Sport. This SUV runs on a 2.2-liter Turbo Diesel Engine and generates maximum power of 148 Bhp and 420 Nm of maximum torque.Price of this car ranges between ₹35-₹48 lakh.
7.Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk:
Added into collection in 2019. Dhoni was the very first owner of this car in India. This car is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine, and it can sprint from 0-100km/hr in just 3.2 seconds. It can generate max power up to 463 bhp. It is priced at ₹1.12 crores in India.
8.Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Series I:
The Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is a luxury car produced from 1965 to 1976. It is powered by a 6230 cc 6.2L 410 V8 engine. This is a cool vintage car that is resting in the garage of Captain Cool.
This beauty has an acceleration of 0-100km/hr in just 5.1s. This car is powered by a 1988 cc engine which generates a power of 295 bhp and max torque up to 380 Nm. In India, It cost around ₹1,03,94,784 to get this car on the roads. It also has an automatic -7 gears, Dual Clutch, Manual Over-ride & peddle Shift, Sport Mode.

Although, Mahindra Scorpio is nothing fancy as compared to his other collections but still it was able to make into Dhoni’s garage. This Scorpio is highly modified by the Mahindra itself to suit the need of our Captain Cool.It bears Dhoni’s initials.
11.Mitsubishi Pajero SFX:
Even though Mitsubishi has discontinued Pajero in India, it is still quite famous in here. So, MS Dhoni purchased a Pajero SFX, earlier. Though, we don’t know whether he still owns it or not.
12.Pontiac Firebird Trans Am:
Very recently, Mahi added a new member to his garage, and that is a rare Pontiac-Firebird-Trans-Am, manufactured by the General Motors. It is red, and a video of same was shared by his beloved wife Sakshi Dhoni. As far as, price is considered it is still a mystery but a car is said to be priced somewhere around ₹68.50 Lakh.
This car is powered by a V8 engine and in 2009, its production was halted in US.The craziest part is that it features a left-hand-drive while in India everyone drives right-hand-drive vehicles.Unique character and strong engines are the traits of Dhoni’s vehicle collection, Pontiac Firebird Trans Am perfectly fits into this frame to be included in the Dhoni’s unique collection.
Dhoni loves his bike and cars so much that Sakshi Dhoni consider them as his toys. Dhoni can be seen cleaning his bikes and cars on regular basis. He takes care of them on his own. In few recent pictures, he can be seen cleaning his Jeep Nissan Jonga with his daughter Ziva Dhoni.
